Fans not treated well
As a Marisela fan who has been waiting to see her for years & years I must say there’s much room for improvement. The worst experience was waiting in the cold for more than an hour because The Ritz Theatre wouldn’t open its doors. Showtime was 7pm. We didn’t get in til 8:20p because the line wrapped around the corner and down the block. It was about 15 degrees outside. There was complete chaos as people pushed and yelled to get in the theatre. Many didn’t even wait on line. They pushed their way in and were let in ahead of those waiting on line for hours. The opening act was terrible and stayed forever. Once he was gone Marisela didn’t come onstage til 20 mins later! I honestly thought she was sick and perhaps was going to cancel. She came out at 9:20p. She sounded great! Unfortunately these days there’s so much audience singing along that you barely hear the artist. We pay money to hear the artist NOT the fans singing!!! Marisela was charming, sexy and the consummate performer. I do think it was too short for the long wait! Many people around me agreed. Her encore was done by 10:40p. It was a good concert but the fans were treated very poorly in my opinion. I wouldn’t do it again.
